East facade of the Palazzo Biscari, a Baroque private palace built by the Paterno Castello Principi di Biscari family in the 18th century, on Via Museo Biscari, Catania, Sicily, Italy. Catania was founded by the Greeks in the 8th century BC and was rebuilt in the 12th century after an earthquake, then again after an earthquake in 1693.
