Pont d'Avignon or Pont Saint-Benezet, from the Boulevard du Rhone, on an evening walking tour led by Vincent Pasquinelli of Les Noctambules dn'Avignon, Avignon, Provence-Alpes-Cote-d'Azur, France. The bridge was built in 1234 with 22 arches although only 4 arches and a gatehouse remain. The Chapel of St Nicholas was built on the bridge in the 12th century.
