Main entrance portal, detail of wooden carvings of interlaced vines and dragons biting each other, at Borgund Stave Church, or Borgund stabkyrkje, a medieval wooden church built 1180-1250, at Borgund, Laerdal, Vestland, Norway. The church is a Sogn type church with a triple nave and a stave-built freestanding bell tower. It is now a museum run by the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Norwegian Monuments.
