Entrance portal with carved interlaced vines and figures either side of the door, wood, at Heddal Stave Church or Heddal stavkirke, a medieval wooden long church built c. 1200, at Notodden, Telemark, Norway. Although only the west entrance is now used, there were originally 4 doors for men, women, the clergy and processions.
