Porte Saint-Andre, or Porte de Langres, an entrance gate built 1st century BC in the Gallo-Roman ramparts of ancient Augustodunum, in Autun, Saone-et-Loire, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France. The gate contains 2 large arched passages for chariots and horse and 2 smaller ones for pedestrians. The upper floor is an arcaded gallery used for patrolling the ramparts. It is listed as a historic monument. On the right is the apse of the Protestant Temple of Porte Saint-Andre. Picture by Manuel Cohen
