Portrait of Isabella of Bavaria, or Elisabeth de Baviere, 1371-1435, queen consort of Charles VI of France, in the Galerie des Illustres, featuring 327 portraits of important figures from history, commissioned 1620-38 by Paul Ardier, in the Chateau de Beauregard, Renaissance chateau begun late 15th century and extended 16th century by Jean du Thier, in Loir-et-Cher, France. The painters are unidentified and mainly copied portraits from other collections. The chateau is listed as a historic monument and forms part of the Loire Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site.
