Portrait of Jean Lannes, 1769-1809, French military commander and marshal of the empire during the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars, oil painting on canvas, by unknown artist, previously attributed to Francois Gerard, in the Musee d'Art et d'Histoire de Nice, founded 1921, in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France. The museum is housed in the Villa Massena, a Belle Epoque mansion designed by Hans Georg Tersling and built 1898 for Victor Massena, grandson of Andre Massena.
