Portrait of a naval officer with his black slave, oil painting on canvas, after 1750, by unknown artist, in the Musee du Nouveau Monde, or New World Museum, opened 1982 in the Hotel Fleuriau, an 18th century mansion home to merchant Aime-Benjamin Fleuriau, 1707-1877, in La Rochelle, Charente-Maritime, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France.
