Portrait of Victor Emmanuel II, 1820-78, king of Italy 1861-78, in the Royal Rooms of the Royal Palace of Venice, now the Correr Museum, on the Piazza San Marco in Venice, Veneto, Italy. The Napoleonic wing was built 1807-13 designed by Giovanni Antonio Antolini and Giuseppe Maria Soli and was used by Napoleon until 1814, the Emperor of Austria until 1866 and the king of Italy until 1919.
