Installation of prince Murat as Grand Master 26th February 1852, lithograph, by Valentin Foucanier, after drawing by Meant Devel, print, in the Musee de la Franc-Maconnerie, or Museum of Freemasonry, opened 1889 in the Hotel du Grand Orient de France, the oldest freemasonic organisation in Europe, on the Rue Cadet in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, France. The ceremony installed Lucien Murat, 1803-78, as Grand Master of the Masonic Order in France, and took place in the Barthelemy room on the Rue du Chateau d'Eau. Picture by Manuel Cohen
