The Angels of France, Hortense, Josephine and Eugenie, lithograph, by Lebigre Duquesne, in the Musee Napoleon or Museum of Napoleon I, opened 1969 in the former Ecole Royale Militaire or Royal Military School, where Napoleon trained 1779-84, at Brienne-le-Chateau, Aube, Grand Est, France. The women are Hortense de Beauharnais, 1783-1837, stepdaughter of Napoleon; Josephine Bonaparte, 1763-1814, first wife of Napoleon, and Empress Eugenie, 1826-1920, wife of Napoleon III.
