St Jerome, detail from the pulpit, in late Gothic style, attributed to Niclaes Gerhaert van Leyden, in the nave of Stephansdom or St Stephen's Cathedral, catholic cathedral built 14th century under Duke Rudolph IV in Romanesque and Gothic style, on the site of an older church, in Stephansplatz in Vienna, Austria. On the pulpit are sculptures of the 4 Doctors of the Church, St Augustine of Hippo, St Ambrose, St Gregory the Great and St Jerome, and a self portrait of the sculptor looking out of a window, known as Fenstergucker.
