Queribus Castle or Chateau de Queribus, Cathar Castle, Cucugnan, Corbieres, Aude, France. Evening view showing the steep rocky cliffs of its hilltop location and Pyrenees in the distance. The castle, built from 13th to 16th centuries, is considered the last Cathar stronghold. It sits on a high peak at 728m. It is one of the Five Sons of Carcassonne or Cinq Fils de Carcassonne.
