Ramparts of the Castillo de San Sebastian (Castle of St Sebastian), a fortress on a small island off La Caleta beach, built in 1706 to defend the city from the North, at Cadiz, Andalusia, Southern Spain. The site is thought to be that of a classical Temple of Kronos, and now houses a lighthouse constructed in 1908. Cadiz is one of the oldest cities in Europe, founded by the Phoenicians in 1100 BC, and later became a Carthaginian then a Roman city, and Spain's constitution was signed here in 1812.
