Relics and shrine of St Genevieve, d. c. 500 AD, patron saint of Paris, by the goldsmith Placide Poussielgue-Rusand, c. 1850, based on drawings by Father Arthur Martin, in the North transept of the Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, or Notre-Dame cathedral, built 1163-1345 in French Gothic style, on the Ile de la Cite in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, France. The relics were transferred here from the former Church of Sainte Genevieve, now the Pantheon. Picture by Manuel Cohen
