Relief - Mammisi - Temple of Isis - Philae Complex
Roman emperor Tiberius offering to Solemn-Ounennefer, Isis and Horus, relief, detail, 1st century AD, on the west wall of the hypostyle hall in the mammisi or Birth House, Ptolemaic, built c. 300 BC, in the Temple of Isis, at the Philae Temple Complex, originally on Philae Island, and moved to Agilkia Island in the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam, Nubia, Egypt. The site consists of the Temple of Isis, built under Nectanebo I, 380-362 BC, and later ruins from the Ptolemaic and Roman periods, and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
