Muses, bas relief from the Hellenistic theatre of Ohrid, late 1st century BC, in the National Museum of Ohrid, housed in the Robevi House, built 1863-64 by Todor Petkov, in Ohrid, a city on Lake Ohrid in North Macedonia. The city was founded by the Phoenicians and thrived in the classical age, then settled by Byzantines, Slavs and Ottomans. The city and lake are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
