Relief, Temple of Hathor, Philae Temple Complex
Bes, a dwarf god, playing a harp, relief, at the Temple of Hathor, built by Ptolemy VI Philometor and Ptolemy VIII Euergetes II, 2nd century BC, at the Philae Temple Complex, originally on Philae Island, and moved to Agilkia Island in the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam, Nubia, Egypt. The site consists of the Temple of Isis, built under Nectanebo I, 380-362 BC, and later ruins from the Ptolemaic and Roman periods, and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
