Relics of St Martine, early christian martyr who died at the Roman arena in the 3rd century, in the Abbatiale Saint-Pierre, a catholic church built 1501-1775 in Gothic style, in Corbie, Somme, Hauts-de-France, France. St Martine was sentenced to death aged 15 but survived animals in the area and crushing by chariots, and was eventually quartered. The building was originally the church of the Royal Abbey of Saint-Pierre, a Benedictine monastery founded 7th century. It is listed as a historic monument. Picture by Manuel Cohen
