Sacred Lake - Dendera Complex
Sacred Lake, 31x25m, in the esplanade of the Temple of Hathor, at the Dendera Temple Complex, at Dendera, Qena, Egypt. The lake is accessed by 4 staircases, used by priests, and was the site of the festival of Sokar-Osiris. The site is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
