Sacred Lake, made during 25th dynasty, used for ritual washing by the priests and for sacred barque during festivals, with obelisks behind, Precinct of Amun-Re, Karnak Temple Complex, Karnak, Thebes, Luxor, Egypt. The site was developed c. 2055 BC - 100 AD, from the Middle Kingdom to the Ptolemaic Kingdom and most of the buildings date to the New Kingdom, dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut and Khonsu.
