Salle des Perspectives, with wall paintings by Pietro Ricchi, 1606-75, of architecture in perspective inspired by engravings by the Dutch artist Vredeman de Vries, at the Chateau de Flecheres, built 1610-16 by Jean de Seve, in Dombes, Fareins, Ain, France. The room celebrates the entry of king Henri II into Lyon in 1552. The chateau was built on an earlier 12th century fortress and is listed as a historic monument. Picture by Manuel Cohen
