Painted ceiling by Giovanni Pietro Lugano and Antonio Pozzi Lugano, in the Salone d'Ercole, or Hercules Room, transformed from an internal courtyard by Guarino Guarini in 1676, and renovated 1756-60 in Neoclassical style by Battista Borra, with the theme of Hercules as a metaphor for the House of Savoy, in the Castello Reale di Racconigi, royal palace of the House of Savoy, at Racconigi, Cuneo, Piedmont, Italy.
