Ruined tower of San Salvador de Verdera castle, on the fortified peak of San Salvador Saverdera in the Sierra de Rodes, Puerto de la Selva, Girona, Catalonia, Spain. The fortifications were built from the 9th to 13th century and served to protect the Sant Pere de Rodes monastery below it. In the distance is the coast of the Costa Brava between LLance and Cerbere.
