Marble sarcophagus, 5th century, with relief of anchor cross within laurel wreath representing salvation, on the lunette lid, and on the front, 2 lambs representing apostles flanking a cross with Alpha and Omega, and palm trees, in the side aisle of the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe, a Byzantine church consecrated 549 AD by bishop Maximian, dedicated to St Apollinaris, in Classe, Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy.
