Anthropomorphic sarcophagus, marble, late 5th century BC, from the west necropolis of Larnaca, in Larnaca District Museum, an archaeology museum founded 1969 and renovated 2022, containing finds from Kition and surrounding area, in Larnaca, Cyprus. The lid depicts a polychrome horizontal standing young male wearing long mantle. Bones of a young man and gold beads from a necklace were found inside. Picture by Manuel Cohen
