A fragment of an iron cauldron, a leather shoe sole, brass pins, finger nail pairings, human hair, heather stalks and a strip of silk and wool mix textile, were found in a votive pool by archaeologist Jacqui Wood who dates them between the medieval period to the 17th century (no carbon dating).
