Cat, monumental bronze sculpture, 2.5m tall, 1998, inaugurated 2002, by Fernando Botero, 1932-2023, in the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden at the foot of the Cascade, an Art Deco style monument with terraces, gardens, fountains and a monumental staircase, designed by Alexander Tamanyan in the 1920s and built 1971-80 by Alexander Tamanyan, 1878-1936, Jim Torosyan and Aslan Mkhitaryan, in Yerevan, Armenia. Since 2009 the building has housed the Cafesjian Museum of Art, a contemporary art exhibition space. Picture by Manuel Cohen
