Crucifixion, polychrome alabaster sculpture possibly from Nottingham, England, early 14th century, originally from the Passion altarpiece in the Eglise Saint-Sernin, in the Musee Lapidaire at the Citadel of Carcassonne, a fortress built in the Roman then medieval period and restored by Eugene Viollet-le-Duc 1853-79, Aude, Occitanie, France.
