Funerary stele with relief of Greek hoplite wearing helmet and holding spear, shield and sword, with Greek inscription stating warrior is from Kardia in Thrace, limestone, c. 400 BC, from Lysi, in the Cyprus Museum, or Cyprus Archaeological Museum, founded 1882, in Nicosia, Cyprus. The stele is possibly for a Greek soldier who fought on Cyprus during the Persian wars. The museum holds archaeological artefacts found on the island from Neolithic to Byzantine times.
