Gallo-Roman frieze fragment with flower and fruit garland and bucrane or ox skull, referencing ox sacrifices for religious ceremonies, marble, late 1st century BC, at the Narbo Via archaeological museum, designed by Norman Foster, opened May 2021, in Narbonne, Aude, Occitanie, France. The 76m long wall of stone in the Lapidarian Gallery displays over 800 Roman sculpted stones mainly from funerary monuments which were used in repairs to the medieval city walls, the collection of the former Musee Lapidaire.
