Gallo-Roman tombstone of merchant or shipowner with relief sculpture of dockers loading a ship at a quayside, High Empire, late 1st century BC - 2nd century AD, limestone, at the Narbo Via archaeological museum, designed by Norman Foster, opened May 2021, in Narbonne, Aude, Occitanie, France. The 76m long wall of stone in the Lapidarian Gallery displays over 800 Roman sculpted stones mainly from funerary monuments which were used in repairs to the medieval city walls, the collection of the former Musee Lapidaire.
