Lion with head of a king, relief inspired by Persian Sassanid dynasty sculptures, from Picheny abbey, now disappeared, c. 1150-60, in the Lapidary Museum, housed in the former Visitor's Chapel, 13th century, at the Abbaye de Fontenay, or Fontenay Abbey, a Cistercian abbey founded by St Bernard of Clairvaux in 1119, in Romanesque style, at Marmagne, Cote d'Or, Burgundy, France.
