Allegorical sculptures on the facade of the Via Latina, in the portico of 1700-02 designed by Claude Laprade, 1682-1738, at the University of Coimbra in the former Palace of the Alcazaba, Coimbra, Portugal. The University of Coimbra was first founded in 1290 and moved to Coimbra in 1308 and to the royal palace in 1537. The buildings are listed as a historic monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
