Stabile-mobile, 1970, by Alexander Calder, 1898-1976, in front of the Musee Matisse, opened 1963 in the Villa des Arenas, built 1670-85 in Genoese style, in Cimiez, a district of Nice used by European royalty when holidaying in the area in the 19th and early 20th centuries, Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France. Henri Matisse, 1869-1954, moved to Nice in 1917 and lived there until his death. Nice is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
