Temptation of Eve, sculpture fragment from east portal of Autun cathedral, attributed to Gislebertus, c. 1120-40, with a reclining Eve picking the forbidden fruit, detail, in the Musee Rolin, in Autun, Saone-et-Loire, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France. The Cathedrale Saint-Lazare d'Autun was built 1120-46 in Romanesque and Gothic styles and is listed as a historic monument.
