Roman tablet fragment with incised drawing of a bear show, with inscription, from the lacuna of a theatre, marble, High Empire, in the Narbo Via archaeological museum, designed by Norman Foster, opened May 2021, in Narbonne, Aude, Occitania, France. The scene depicts bears climbing on vats containing chained prisoners to be mauled, and a bear cage. Shows led by a bear trainer were performed at amphitheatres as entertainment.
