Polychrome sculpture of Queen St Isabel or Elizabeth of Portugal, 1271-1336, 18th century, in the Museu Nacional de Machado de Castro, Coimbra, Portugal. The museum was opened in 1913 and renovated 2004-2012. The city of Coimbra dates back to Roman times and was the capital of Portugal from 1131 to 1255.
