The tower, first half of the 13th century, is dodecagonal in shape and divided into three levels. The circular top level was added in 1760. It served as an observation post at the entrance to the port on the Guadalquivir River during the conquest of Americas. Today it houses the city's Naval Museum. Picture by Manuel Cohen
