Shaving dish, 1773, from Nantes, ceramic dish painted with an image of the slave ship Marie Seraphique, commemorating her campaign of 1773 when 333 blacks were sold in Santo Domingo, under the foreman Rene La Porte, in the Musee d'histoire de Nantes, in the Chateau des ducs de Bretagne, in Nantes, Pays de la Loire, France.
