Weaving, with loose threads and rubber coated yarn, in the studio of Sophie Graney, in her studio at Cockpit Arts, a social enterprise and creative business incubator in Deptford, London, UK. Sophie uses unusual materials such as rubber, leather and PVC in her weavings and makes pieces for homewares, art pieces and fashion. Cockpit was founded in 1986 with 5 units opening in Cockpit Yard in Holborn, and now supports 170 businesses in the Holborn and Deptford sites.
