St George sculpture, Chapelle du Saint Sacrement
Sculpture of St George killing the dragon, 19th century, in the Chapelle Saint-Georges or Chapelle du Saint Sacrement, the 9th chapel of the ambulatory, in the Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, or Notre-Dame cathedral, built 1163-1345 in French Gothic style, on the Ile de la Cite in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, France. The chapel is named for the crucifix and candelabra from the coronation of Napoleon in 1804, from Arras cathedral, late 18th century, which are housed here.
