Stadium, Delphi, Greece
Stadium, built 4th century BC and remodelled 2nd century AD under Herodus Atticus, seating 6500 spectators, used for the Pythian Games, gymnastics competitions and music concerts, in Delphi, Greece. The ancient city of Delphi was the seat of the oracle Pythia and the centre of the world to the ancient Greeks.
