Stained glass, Basilique du Sacre-Coeur, Paray-le-Monial
St Marguerite Marie Alacoque, 1647-90, mystic of the order of the visitation, crowned by Christ on arrival in heaven, with the Virgin, stained glass window, 1878, by master glassmaker Le Lorrain, in the Basilique du Sacre-Coeur, a Cluniac priory church built 12th - 14th century in Romanesque style, at the Notre-Dame Priory, in Paray-le-Monial, Saone-et-Loire, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France. The original monastery was built 973-77 and was joined to Cluny in 1090. The current building was begun in the 12th century and is listed as a historic monument. Picture by Manuel Cohen
