Christian crushed by a cart for not repaying his debt to a Jew, with coins spilling from his hollow stick, detail from the Life of St Nicholas, stained glass window, 1528, in the Eglise Saint-Florentin, in Saint-Florentin, Yonne, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France. The window was donated by Pierre Duguet, his wife Jehannette Duguet and 9 children. The church was built from 1520, restored 1859-61 and it is listed as a historic monument. Picture by Manuel Cohen
