Staircase, Hotel de Caumont, Aix-en-Provence
Staircase with wrought iron banister, 1722, by Raynaud, at the Hotel de Caumont, originally Hotel de Reauville, a mansion built 1715-42 by Georges Vallon for Francois de Rolland, lord of Reauville, marquis de Cabannes, in the Mazarin area of Aix-en-Provence, France. The building now houses the Caumont Centre d'Art, housing art exhibitions and a tea room. It is listed as a historic monument. Picture by Manuel Cohen
