Vierge de Fontenay, a Virgin and child statue, late 13th century, in the north transept of the Abbey church, built 1139-47, at the Abbaye de Fontenay, or Fontenay Abbey, a Cistercian abbey founded by St Bernard of Clairvaux in 1119, in Romanesque style, at Marmagne, Cote d'Or, Burgundy, France.
