Statue of Saint-Louis, or king Louis IX, early 14th century, in the Chapelle Saint-Louis, in the Eglise Saint-Vincent, built from 1269 under Saint Louis and rebuilt from 1308 under Philip IV, in Gothic style, in the Bastide Saint-Louis in Carcassonne, Aude, Occitanie, France. This is the oldest known representation of the saint, probably made c. 1320. The church is listed as a historic monument and has been restored from 2008. Picture by Manuel Cohen
