Statue of Queen Louise by Erdmann Encke, 1880, on the Luiseninsel, an island garden in the Grosser Tiergarten park, Mitte, Berlin, Germany. The island is named after Queen Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, wife of King Frederick William III of Prussia, 1770-1840, who spent time here in the early 19th century.
