Statues of Guido Aretino, 992-1033, (left) and Benvenuto Cellini, 1500-71, sculptor, (right) on the facade of the Galleria degli Uffizi, or Uffizi Gallery, an art museum adjacent to the Piazza della Signoria in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. The Uffizi building was begun by Giorgio Vasari in 1560 for Cosimo I de Medici and completed by Alfonso Parigi and Bernardo Buontalenti in 1581.
